Why clients choose to work with Helen

Helen has practiced law in Florida since 1991 and has devoted her career to representing plaintiffs in personal injury and medical malpractice matters. She built Stratigakos Law around the idea that clients deserve a real relationship with the attorney handling their case, along with honest guidance about what a claim is actually worth and when it makes sense to litigate rather than settle.

“I took those beliefs and dedicated my career to pursuing justice for every client.”

— Helen Stratigakos, Esq.

Her story

Helen spent the first five years of her career practicing criminal defense before shifting her focus entirely to representing plaintiffs. That early courtroom experience still shapes how she prepares every case, including ones she expects to settle.

Helen founded Stratigakos Law in 1996 after finding that larger firms made it difficult to give clients the personalized attention she believed they deserved. The firm has stayed intentionally boutique so that clients work directly with her rather than being routed through a large support staff.

As the daughter of immigrants, Helen has spoken about growing up with an appreciation for a fair and just court system, and for the idea that every person has a voice that can make a difference. That perspective informs her commitment to pursuing a fair outcome for each client she represents.

Clients work with Helen on a contingency-fee basis, meaning there's no fee unless she recovers compensation on your behalf. She meets clients during regular business hours as well as evenings and weekends by appointment, so a full-time job or family obligations don't stand in the way of getting help.
